Based on the way that Jöran and Iffar Pulkkinen are shown in the above Rippikirjat, I'm guessing that they're brothers. Widow Ann Polvinen is shown above them, so she was most likely Jöran and Iffar's mother.
The early records (Kuhmon Vanhat Tilat) show the farm owners of Lentua 9, Pulkkila in 1683 as Jöran Mattss Pulkkinen, along with wife Brita. This is how I know that their father was Matts.
