Fact Monster - This site contains an almanac, atlas, encyclopedia, and a dictionary plus weather facts and info on who was born today! You can also search links by school subject.
Kidsclick! - This site was developed by librarians and has over 700 subjects that you can search for projects!
NH State Library Children's Resources - This site has links to some more great Homework Help sites plus links to online magazines, cool sites, teen sites, and things that are just for fun. A great resource from our own State Library.
Internet Public Library Home Work Help Page - This page was also created by librarians and has a wealth of information for projects and papers for teens.
Sparknotes: If you have to read a book for class, this is the place for you! These guides to literature have a synopsis of the book, study questions, character analysis, historical context, and main themes. Similiar to "Cliff Notes".
Public Agenda Online: This site can be used for current social issues projects. It has topics ranging from abortion to the right-to-die to higher education and US foreign policy. It gives both sides to the issue and outlines the major points of the argument.
http://www.pantheon.org An online encyclopedia of myth, folklore, and legend from all areas of the world. You can search by key word and view drawings of mythical beasts. Great for projects on Roman, Greek, African, Chinese, and other world mythology.
WorksCited4U - This site helps students format bibliographies and works cited pages for free.
Kidspeakonline.org - This is a non-profit organization that fights for the first amendment rights of kids! Learn about censorship in the U.S. and how you can help fight it.
