WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010

If you have games to donate, please drop them off at the library. We will be counting on donations to increase this collection. If you have suggestions for titles to get, please e-mail them to blibrary@metrocast.net

We currently have over 50 titles to choose from!

INCLUDE the GAME PLATFORM wanted. Games will be treated like DVDs...any game we get that is rated M for Mature will only be checked out to those who have adult cards (age 18 and up), or, with a parent present who gives permission on an underage card. Patrons will be responsible for any loss or damage to games and charged a replacement fee. Parents who have signed for children's cards take financial responsibility for any items lost or damaged by their children.

Console Games will circulate for 3 weeks but will not be renewed due to the limited number of them in our collection. They will also be fined at $1.00 per day if they are overdue.

The library also has a small collection of PC Games, mostly geared towards young children (Harry Potter, Nancy Drew mysteries, and other learning games) and non-fiction titles such as resume writing programs, family history, and writing business plans.

E-Books Are Here!

A new collection of FREE E-Books you can download via our Overdrive System is available! Let us know what you think of the collection and send ideas for purchases in this area to blibrary@metrocast.net  ..the buyer ay NHSL is very good about patron requests when funds allow.
Compatible Readers:

Sony Readers and Barnes & Noble Nooks are compatible readers
http://www.overdrive.com/resources/drc/compatibleebookdevices.aspx
The Amazon Kindle is not a compatible reader.
Your PC or Mac computer is a compatible reader! Most laptops and many netbooks run full versions of Windows or Mac OS and could work nicely for some people as an eBook reader - especially the small netbooks with long battery life or laptops that fold into a tablet.

Circulation Period & Early Return of EPUB Titles:
The ebooks will circulate for 14 days.
The ebooks can be returned early. How? Using your Sony Reader Library software, right-click on the book cover and choose "Return Borrowed Item."
After the 14-day circulation period has passed, if you return to the main menu of your Sony Reader and try once again to enter into the book, you will get a notice stating that the license has expired. You will need to recheck out the title.
Here is a slide show tutorial to help with eBooks on PC:

And for MAC users: http://tech.nhlibrary.org/2010/03/enjoying-ebooks-on-your-mac-transferring-an-ebook-to-a-sony-reader/

Collection & Free eBooks from Google, etc.
The collection is a blend of new titles and back list titles.
We won't be adding any out of copyright titles to the collection. Why not? Because you can get these titles *for free* from Google Books, Project Gutenberg, and a number of other sources online.
And here's a link from Sony with instructions on using a free e-book site: http://ebookstore.sony.com/google-ebooks/
